An O ring is a torus or donut-shaped mechanical seal used to prevent the flow or leakage of fluids between two mating surfaces. Produced from different natural and synthetic elastomers, including Buna-N, Viton®, and silicone rubber, O-rings have circular cross sections. These seals are normally seated in a groove or cavity and their sealing action is achieved by the force of compression of the two mating surfaces on the seal as well as the liquid pressure acting on it. O rings can be used in a static sealing role or a dynamic one, and are normally classified into radial seals or axial seals.

Oxidizers are used to oxidize the exhaust gas streams, produced by industrial plants, to make them clean for discharge into the atmosphere. These oxidizers are used to remove various gases and pollutants, such as volatile organic compounds (VOC), nitrogen oxides (Nox), carbon monoxide, and organic particulate matter. There are essentially two types of oxidizers, categorized on the basis of their operation: thermal oxidizers and catalytic oxidizers. Thermal oxidizers work based on the principle of combustion, heating the gases to very high temperatures to break them down, and are further divided into recuperative thermal oxidizers and regenerative thermal oxidizers. The catalytic oxidizers, on the other hand, use ceramic beads or honeycombs coated with catalysts that chemically react with the VOCs and other pollutants, to clean the gases prior to discharge.

An O Ring belt is a long, elastomeric belt with circular cross sections, used in various power transmission applications. These belts are generally made from synthetic elastomers that are highly flexible and elastic, such as urethane. This type of drive belt is generally used in power transmission applications that require low torque, including drills and mini-conveyors. Besides standard belt sizes, O-Ring belts are also available as long straight pieces, which can be cut and spliced to the length required for the application.
