A vibratory feeder is a device that primarily utilizes vibrations and gravity to feed solid materials, at a steady rate, to processes or machines. In most cases, these vibratory feeders are used with dry materials and the vibrations are used to induce the solid flow. There are basically two types of vibratory feeders, one being the electromechanical feeder and the other an electromagnetic feeder. While the electromechanical vibratory feeder uses a combination of an eccentric motor, cam, V-pulley, and bearing to induce the vibrations, the electromagnetic feeder uses an electric motor to repeatedly energize a magnet that creates vibratory action.

Vibratory feeder bowls are devices contrived to feed a variety of parts including rivets, screws, and tapered parts. Typically, these feeders are fabricated from stainless steel and cast aluminum. The design has the feeder bowls mounted on cushiony elastomeric pads, which reduces the forces propagated to the mounting surface without eliminating them. The amount of force being transmitted to the mount is mathematically related to the ratio of the mass of the mounted device to the stiffness of the mount.

Vacuum blowers are devices that circulate inert gas backfilled into a vacuum system. These blowers do not pull a vacuum; their main purpose is gas circulation. The fan design enables maintenance of high flow rate with adequate back pressure. They are used for drying and vacuum packing in food industry; extraction of vapors or gases in chemical industry; and in electronics industry. They are also used in the production of integrated circuits and circulation of gases in laser.

Vibrating Conveyors are designed to simultaneously settle product within a container while conveying the container to a closing and sealing machine. Linear vibration aids in settling the material in the container before the container is closed.
