.jpg) | Ultra Deckblaster - Waterjet Surface Preparation, Coating Removal Tool The Jet Edge Ultra Deckblaster is specifically designed for ultra-high pressure (UHP) waterjet surface preparation, water jet coating removal, and light scarification on flat surfaces such as concrete floors and steel decks. The self-propelled Ultra Deckblaster waterjetting machine operates at pressures up to 55,000 psi (3,800 bar). Removal of polyurethane paint or nonskid coatings from factory floors, ship decks, paint booths, and parking ramps are typical applications. The Ultra Deckblaster also removes accumulated spillage such as grease, oil and overspray. This portable water jetting unit performs with the application of UHP water supplied by a Jet Edgewaterjet intensifier pump.Hydraulic* pressure activates the motor to spin the spray bar assembly and open a highflow water valve supplying fluid to the manifolds. The water travels through a high-pressure on/off valve and high-speed swivel before entering the rotating spray bar. Multiple jet orifices direct UHP water over an 18 inch (46 cm) wide cleaning path as the Ultra Deckblaster advances. The spray bar accepts a variety of standard jet manifolds offering the flexibility to handle a multitude of applications. The functional "lawnmower style" design gives the waterjet operator total control of the rotation speed, drive speed, forward/off/reverse, water and rotation on/off of the spray bar for precise operation. Easily accessible knobs control forward/reverse and bar rotation speeds. A manually actuated valve does not allow operation of any function unless the safety lever is depressed. The hydraulic-powered wheel drive (self-propelled drive) offers additional operator control and comfort and can be easily disengaged for free-rolling applications. The spray bar height is adjustable by using a tension handle at the front of the Ultra Deckblaster. | ||||||||
.jpg) | UltraLite Lance - Mobile Waterjet Cutting, Stripping, Cleaning Tool The Ultra-Lite Lance is a hand-held portable waterjet tool that directs ultra-high pressure (UHP) water for cutting, stripping, and cleaning. Typical applications are surface preparation for painting, stripping corrosion and overspray residue, and removing grease and oil from soiled surfaces. Water is supplied to the lance from a Jet Edge Ultra-High Pressure UHPwaterjet intensifier pumpcapable of producing up to 36,000 psi (2532 kg/cm2) of water pressure. The water is extruded through an orifice to produce a concentrated stream for water jet cutting, or through a fan-shaped outlet for waterjet surface stripping and cleaning. The fan tip can be rotated 360° for precise aiming of the water stream. Water flow is controlled by a hand-squeeze trigger. The trigger shifts a spring-loaded plunger that normally keeps a poppet-style calve closed. When the plunger is shifted the poppet opens and water flows to the water jet cutting head. The UltraLite Lance minimizes operator fatigue during vertical and overhead applications because it is easily held in a natural horizontal position. Interchangeable extension tubes and handles are available. | ||||||||
