12 Jun 2009 — Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL) is pleased to announce the addition of Model 4328 ProD high performance data acquisition and strain gage interface board to its family of CellMite® products. The CellMite® ProD is suitable for embedded applications that require high speed/high accuracy analog and digital data acquisition yet also designed for ruggedized applications, operating from -40°C to +85°C. CellMite® ProD features dual 24-bit independent strain gage channels with simultaneous sampling at 15K samples/second that can also be configured as quad 24-bit strain gage channels sampled at 5K samples/second. In addition, this unit features 12 additional 12-bit analog input channels with a throughput of 1M samples/second. Digital data acquisition is also supported with 64-bits of simultaneously sampled digital inputs that can be sampled at 20M samples/second. 9 Jun 2009 — Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL) introduces the new Model 4331-200 CellMite® LVDT AC (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) Digital Signal Conditioner Board into their CellMite® product line. The CellMite® LVDT connects directly to two standard AC LVDT transducers and simultaneously generates a serial output for connection to a PC and a +/-10V analog output. This CellMite® LVDT embedded conditioning board can be operated with a computer or simply setup by a computer and used as a stand-alone intelligent LVDT digital signal conditioner with analog output. M4331-200 has on board storage for up to three calibrated LVDTs, each with integrated 6-point calibration that can be used to linearize the LVDT outputs. Its multidrop RS232/RS485 serial port and simple command set allow for connection of multiple units in a serial network configuration. M9456 Simultaneously Switches Six PRI Channels to A or B Output Devices with No Power Required

This network switch allows access to two separate Output devices, A or B, through a device connected to the Common port for each of the switch's six Primary Rate Interface (PRI) Input channels. The Model 9456 requires no power, allowing users to manually switch all six PRI channels simultaneously between A and B positions via one knob located on the front of the unit. This 6-channel A/B switch utilizes a high quality sealed switch mechanism with self-wiping contacts and is enclosed in a rugged all-aluminum 1U rackmount. All eighteen of the RJ45 Female ports are located on the rear of the unit with four pins of each RJ45 T1 channel switched (paired 1&2 and 4&5).

16-Channel ST Simplex Fiber Optic A/B/Off-Line Switch Employs Mirror Technology

Enclosed in a standard 2U rackmount casing, the Model 6259 will go Off-Line on power loss and will stop passing data. The switch may be controlled locally by using the front panel pushbuttons. There is no remote control for this unit. All 16 channels of this A/B/Offline switch are switched simultaneously and switch ports are transparent to all data. Remotely Set Delay for Manual Position Changes w/ the DB25/X.21 BIS Interface A/B Switch

19 May 2009 — Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL) has announced the new Pathway® Model 7231 DB25/X.21 BIS Interface A/B Switch with Serial Remote Control which allows the sharing of a DB25/X.21 BIS Interface device between two other X.21 BIS Interface devices. M7231 can be controlled manually by front panel pushbuttons or remotely via a DB9 connector accepting RS232 Serial Data. This compact, 2-position data switch allows the user to issue remote ASCII commands to set a pushbutton-position change delay value. This creates a "Duration Time" for which the operator must hold down the pushbutton for a period of time before the actual change of switch position occurs. All 25 interface pins on the Model 7231 are switched and switch ports are transparent to data speed and format. A wide range UL approved power module is also supplied with the unit to cover North American and European applications.

Remotely control the switch, query switch position or lockout front panel controls via the RS232 interface using ASCII commands. All 8 leads of the RJ45 interface are switched and switch ports are transparent to all data. All switched signals are passed via dependable copper contact relays that maintain their position and continuity in the event of a power loss.
