The BM 26 is a simple, rugged instrument designed to indicate level or interface. It indicates level using a float magnetically coupled to an index or a column of rotating flaps. It is ideal for aggressive media stored in tanks when the PTFE lining option is used. For liquids with densities less than 0.5 kg/l / 31 lb/ft³, pressures more than 120 bar / 1740 psig and temperatures higher than 300°C / 570 °F, we recommend our BW 25 displacer-type level indicator. .jpg) | Magnetic Level Gauge – BM 26 BASIC | ADVANCED Stainless Steel Bypass Level Indicators for applications up to 40 bar / 580 psig
Our bypass level indicators are simple, rugged devices designed to indicate or transmit the level of liquids. They indicate level using a float magnetically coupled to a column of rotating flaps. Bistable switches can be attached to the measuring tube to detect level. The Basic version is ideal for measuring liquids with a density ≥0.75 g/cm³ / ≥46.8 lb/ft³, temperatures up to 150°C / 300°F or pressures up to 16 bar / 232 psig (for more data, refer to Guidelines for maximum operating pressure on page 37). Level can also be transmitted via an ER analog transmitter. The Advanced version is ideal for measuring liquids with density range of 0.54...2.0 g/cm³ / 33.7...124.8 lb/ft³, temperatures up to 300°C / 570°F or pressures up to 40 bar / 580 psi (for more data, refer to Guidelines for maximum operating pressure on page 37). BM 26 F is based on proven bypass measurement technology. It is capable of high precision measurement and is unaffected by foam, agitated product surface and obstructed tank environments. BM 26 F integrates the OPTIFLEX 1300 C Guided Radar (TDR) Level Meter for distance, level and volume measurement of liquids and liquid/liquid interface. It can also optionally indicate level using a permanent, IP68 local indication without power supply. For pressures 40...120 bar / 580...1740 psig and temperatures 200...300°C / 390...570°F, we recommend using our BM 26A bypass level indicator. For pressures more than 120 bar / 1740 psig and temperatures higher than 300°C / 570°F, we recommend using our BW 25 displacer-type level indicator.
